Sand Mountain NV Ride Review
Sand Mountain Well we finally got to go to the dunes. And all I can say is WOW. This was defiantly worth the drive, even though I can’t drive yet. This was the coolest riding experience ever. You can do wheelies till you can’t any more. That was really cool, and if you fall off the back, like I did a few times, you don’t feel a thing, just let go and push er back on 4 wheels.
Another awesome thing is you can go way up the side of a dune until u start losing traction and then turn around and come back down. Sure it was steep at a couple spots but I made it fine. There are defiantly plenty of places to jump at. Any lip you see can be a jump, just look over the other side first. Me and my dad were hitting this jump and this sand rail pulled up beside me. So I hit the jump and he hit it too! That was awesome. I had never seen that in person before.
A lot of people think that all there is at dunes is wide open sand. Well they are wrong. There is trails that you can chase each other around in too. That was really fun. It was like playing follow the leader. We would be flying around bushes and then there would be a little pile of sand that we would ramp off of. That was really fun too. The whole sand experience was cool.
Even though it was really cold over there I would defiantly want to go back sometime. The place doesn’t look like much but when you get to the backside of the mountain there is a lot more dunes. This place was awesome.
